Walking for Your Health
Health and happiness are the most crucial things in our life. We need to take control of our health and be happy. Most of us know the importance and yet cannot find time for it. We want to be healthier, fitter, and youthful but we are always in a rush dealing with our daily life. Well, take care of your own health and live a healthy lifestyle could be simple. It can fit into your busy schedule if you do it one step at a time and don't give up.
Most of us know that exercise is essential for healthy living and walking is a good way of exercising, but there is more to it. The organs of your body have their sensory touches at the bottom of your foot according to the theory of Meridians (经络) system, also known as the Channel theory. You will find relief from aches and pains if you press the pressure points on your foot. Well, you can pay for foot massage and visit an acupuncture practitioner regularly, or just keep walking. When you walk, you keep pressing these pressure points and thus keep these organs activated at all time, and you get all of the benefits for free! That is one of the simplest tips for healthy living.
The theory of Meridians (经络) system, also known as the Channel theory, is the foundation of the traditional Chinese medicine that has been developed and practiced over 2,500 years.
Meridians (经络) systemMeridian system is an invisible network of channels or pathways. There are Qi points, or acupuncture points (穴位) along each meridian that can be manipulated to restore balance. Stimulating these points is the basic technique of therapeutic massage, acupuncture and acupressure.
Important Qi Points
One way to enhance the Qi flow in your body is frequently stimulate Qi points. First locate the area of the Qi-point according to a Qi-points chart, then use the tip of your thumb applying pressure on the area. Move your thumb tip around the area and try couple of different points until you get the strongest sensation.

Zen Food (禅食)
Zen Food originated in Tang Dynasty (唐朝)by a Zen Master. He used 6 whole grains and nuts to make a cereal-like mixture and provided it to the monks of the temple. Due to its high nutrition value and other health benefits Zen Food has been spread not only in China but also to Korea, Japan and other Asian countries.
